MONTANA NEWS READER, MARVELLA ORCHARD SPEAKS OUT

The Montana News Association received the following letter last week. Upon the recent bashing of the Christian aspect of the MNA Press and its readers who confront the local liberal press, we decided to publish this letter.

Dear Mr. Donald Cyphers,

I write to tell you how pleased I was to see the "Northern Light" has joined the Montana News Association. As you know, I follow the progress of your organization with avid interest. God has blessed you with a remarkable capacity to speak the truth with boldness and clarity. And I know you pay a high price for doing so, much like the prophets of the Old Testament. But remember this, that the world hates - hates with extreme hatred! - true disciples of Jesus Christ. So keep your eyes fixed on the One who will guide you in all your ways and remember, when the attacks come, "Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him." (Proverbs 26:4) And also remember this, "For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?" (I Corinthians 14:8) Your sound is clear and those who have ears to hear, understand it. Those who don't, reveal that they are still operating in the spirit of the world. "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." (I Corinthians 2:12-14)

As the darkness grows around you, your light blinds those whose eyes cannot see, which makes them angry and want to put out your light. Do not fear this, as they tried to do the same thing with our Lord and Savior. Continue in faith and know that you will receive your reward in heaven.
